This is the second evidence session for the Committee’s inquiry into UK relations with Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The first panel will consider the wider historical and regional context of UK – Gulf relations, as well as UK interests across the region. In the second session, the Committee will focus on the UK’s long and evolving relationship with Saudi Arabia.

Future evidence sessions
It is expected that future evidence sessions will focus upon other aspects of the inquiry, including trade, defence and human rights. Witnesses will be confirmed and announced nearer the time.
