MPs examine costs of a possible Scottish Defence Force

The Scottish Affairs Committee will be continuing to examine the potential effects of Scotland’s separation from the United Kingdom by looking at the resources available to spend on defence and security in Scotland.

This evidence session will examine what affordable defence forces might look like, with two witnesses who have drawn up, and costed, a model of a possible independent Scottish Defence Force.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 30 January at 2.30pm in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House.
