Liaison Committee question Deputy Prime Minister for the first time

The Liaison Committee will take evidence from the Deputy Prime Minister Rt Hon Nick Clegg MP at 4pm on Tuesday 5 February. This will be the first time the Committee has held an evidence session with the Deputy Prime Minister.

Themes

The questioning will focus on the Deputy Prime Minister's role in the following two areas:

  • The Greenest Government Ever?: United Nations Rio+20 Summit and its follow-on agenda (the Deputy Prime Minister led the UK delegation in June 2012); and energy and environment policies
  • Constitutional reform and devolution in the United Kingdom

The evidence session is expected to last for one and a half hours.
 
The Liaison Committee is made up of the Chairs of House of Commons Select Committees.
