Environmental Audit Committee to question Defra Minister Lord de Mauley on latest developments on Insects and Insecticides

On Wednesday 27 February 2013, Lord de Mauley will return to the Environmental Audit Committee to provide further evidence on Defra’s policy on insects and insecticides.
A great deal has changed since the Minister first gave evidence to the EAC on this topic—notably the European Food Safety Authority’s recent revised risk assessments of neonicotinoid insecticides and bees—and the Committee will want to know how Defra’s policy is evolving in response to such developments.
