The Business, Innovation and Skills Committee announces a short inquiry into the Government’s proposals for the privatisation of Royal Mail.

The Committee holds a one-off evidence session on Tuesday 10 September with the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills.

The Committee seeks views on the Government proposals contained in the recently published Report, Royal Mail: Sale of Shares (PDF 353.9 KB).

The deadline for the submission of written evidence is Friday 30 August 2013. As a guideline submissions should be no longer than 3000 words.

Submitting online

As part of a scheme to encourage paperless working and maximise efficiency, the Committee is piloting a new web portal for online submissions of written evidence. Written submissions for this inquiry should therefore be sent via the Business, Innovation and Skills Committee website.
