Committee examines Henry Jackson Society report on SNP Defence Strategy.

The Henry Jackson Society recently published a report entitled In Scotland’s Defence? An Assessment of SNP Defence Strategy.

The Committee will take evidence from the report’s author, George Grant, as part of its inquiry into The Referendum on Separation for Scotland

The report covers six main areas including foreign policy and risks to national security; joining NATO; establishing a Scottish Defence Force; removing the Trident nuclear deterrent from Scotland; intelligence and cyber security; and the future of the Scottish defence industry.
