The Committee has published several Reports on aspects of holding a Referendum on Separation for Scotland, including issues relating to the referendum question, and the regulation of the referendum

This evidence session will give the Electoral Commission the opportunity to explain their advice on the referendum question and on campaign spending limits, published in January.

The session could also cover related issues, including the registration of 16-18 year olds, activities to make sure the register is as complete as possible and what can be done to assist Service personnel to vote when they have been based, as part of their job, outside Scotland.

The Committee will also take evidence from the Ministry of Defence on registering Service personnel to vote.
