The House of Lords debated the Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee's Report into the Government's new approach to consultation in Grand Committee on 11th March.

On October 31st 2012 the Committee issued a call for evidence on the Government's approach to consultation following a written statement by the Minister for Government Policy, the Rt Hon. Oliver Letwin, in the Commons on July 17th. The Committee published its Report on January 10th 2013. The Committee has published the Government's response on February 28th.
