Purpose of the Session

This is the final of three oral evidence sessions for the Committee's inquiry into the role of School Governors. In the first session, the Committee heard evidence from serving school governors, the National Governors Association, headteachers, Ofsted and Professor Chris James of the University of Bath. At its second session, Members took evidence from local authorities, NASUWT, The Haberdashers Company, School Governors One Stop Shop, GL Education Group, the National College of School Leadership and National Co-ordinators of Governor Services.
