The Environmental Audit Committee to hold first evidence session on Sustainability in the UK Overseas Territories

The Environmental Audit Committee will hold its first public evidence hearing on Sustainability in the UK Overseas Territories, at 2.20 pm on Tuesday 19 March in Committee Room 16, Palace of Westminster.

In the first evidence session on this inquiry the Committee will hear from representatives from the environmental departments of St Helena and the Turks and Caicos Islands. The Committee will explore the current environmental challenges facing the territories, environmental governance arrangements, funding and capacity issues and progress on biodiversity conservation and tackling climate change.
