Purpose of the session
In emergency and conflict settings, women and girls are at high risk of physical, sexual and emotional violence—from armed groups, strangers, neighbours and family members. This evidence session, offers the chance to discuss how donors such as DFID can better protect and assist women and girls suffering violence.
The panel will focus on child marriage, the subject of a recent campaign by The Elders, and a key driver of VAWG.
