European Scrutiny Committee Chairman takes part in open lecture series

The Chairman of the European Scrutiny Committee, Mr William Cash MP, gave a lecture on improving European scrutiny for the BBC's Democracy Live programme on 21 February 2013.
The Chairman stresses the importance of scrutinising legislation that, by virtue of the European Communities Act 1972, will have the effect of national law in the UK.
