The Committee is calling for evidence on the extent to which the Ministry of Justice has implemented the recommendations of its predecessor’s 2010 Report on the Crown Dependencies (PDF 1.28 MB)

In particular, the Committee seeks views on how implementation of recommendations made by the previous Committee has affected the operation of the constitutional relationship between the Crown Dependencies and the UK Government in relation to:

  • Scrutiny of insular legislation by the Ministry of Justice;
  • Consultation of the Dependencies by Government Departments on UK legislation in which they have an interest;

The Committee invites written submissions on these issues by midday on Friday 10 May 2013.
