Former British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia questioned on UK's relations

This is the fourth evidence session for the Committee’s inquiry into UK relations with Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The Committee will hear from witnesses on the defence industry and defence and security relationship more broadly. It will then go on to take evidence from the most recent British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia on the current state of Saudi-British relations.
It is expected that further evidence sessions will focus upon other aspects of the inquiry, including future trends and scenarios, and human rights. Witnesses will be confirmed and announced nearer the time.
