The Science and Technology Committee has received a response from the Government to the ‘Educating tomorrow’s engineers: the impact of Government reforms on 14–19 education’ Report produced by the Committee on 8 February 2013.

Government Response

The response will be published as a Special Report on Wednesday 15 May at 11.00am (HC 102):

  • Educating tomorrow’s engineers: the impact of Government reforms on 14–19 education: Government Response to the Committee's Seventh Report of Session 2012–13

There will be no embargoed copies of the Special Report. Copies of the Special Report can be obtained from TSO outlets and from the Parliamentary Bookshop (020 7219 3890) upon publication by quoting the appropriate HC number. The text of the Special Report will be available on the Committee’s website from the time of publication.

Debate on Engineering Education

The Science and Technology Committee on Educating tomorrow's engineers, and its Government response, will be debated in Westminster Hall on Thursday 16 May. A Government Minister will be there to respond to the Committee.

The debate will be available to watch live on Parliament TV.
