Committee announce forward programme

At its meeting on Tuesday 14 May, in addition to the inquiries already announced, the Home Affairs Select Committee agreed in principle to undertake the following inquiries in the 2013/14 Session of Parliament:

• Counter-terrorism
• Violence against women
• EU Justice and Home Affairs Opt-out
• Out-of-Court Disposals               
• Human trafficking
• The illicit trade in tobacco
• Police and Crime Commissioners: one year on
• Blue-light deaths
• The Home Affairs implications of Scottish Independence

This agenda is subject to change and terms of reference and calls for evidence will be announced in due course.
