Further evidence on Energy Subsidies in the UK

Environmental Audit Committee will hold its second public evidence hearing on Energy subsidies in the UK, at 2.15 pm on Wednesday 15 May in the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House.

This session will explore international issues connected to energy subsidies, including fossil fuel subsidies: the rationale for the justifications put forward for subsidies (protecting infant industries and in support of pro-poor policies), links between Aid and subsidies and the initiatives aimed at reducing fossil fuel subsidies.
