MPs take evidence from the European Commission on food contamination

Following the publication of its initial Report on Contamination of Beef Products, the Environment Food and Rural Affairs Committee will take further evidence on food contamination on Tuesday 21 May at 3pm.

In this session, the European Commission will be questioned on its response to the horsemeat crisis and its proposals for new regulations on governing food traceability and the movement of horses.
