The Environmental Audit Committee will hold its first public evidence hearing on Well-being, at 10.45 am on Thursday 9 May in the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House.

In the first evidence session in this inquiry, the Environmental Audit Committee will take evidence from Professor Dieter Helm, Chair of the Natural Capital Committee, which published its first report in April. Likely subjects for discussion include the measurement of natural capital, how policymakers might apply data derived from the valuation of natural capital and the extent to which lessons and techniques derived from the case of natural capital can be applied to human capital and social capital.
