On 9 December, the Communities and Local Government Committee will hold an oral evidence session with Eric Pickles, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. MPs on the Committee want to ensure that their questions reflect the most pressing concerns in the world of local government. They want to hear what questions you would put to Mr Pickles.

Submit your question via Twitter, by adding the hashtag #AskPickles to your tweet, from 11am on Thursday 28 November and before 11pm on Wednesday 4 December.

Clive Betts MP, Chair of the Committee, says:
“We want to ask the Secretary of State about the concerns of those involved in local government.  Don’t hold back.  Tweet us the one question you would like to ask Eric Pickles. And remember the hashtag #AskPickles”.

About this session
The Committee will take evidence from Mr Pickles and his ministerial team on 9 December. In the first part of the session, MPs will question the Ministers on issues arising from its inquiry into the Performance of the Department. Then in the second part Mr Pickles will field a selection of the #AskPickles questions put directly by the members of the Committee.
