Climate: Public understanding and policy implications

The session will examine the role and effectiveness of Government in communicating about climate science and policies, the resources available and how public understanding could be improved.

The session will explore a range of issues, including:

  • The role of the Chief Scientific Adviser in communicating the science of climate
  • Whether there exists a coherent strategy for communicating science inside and outside of Government.
