Background

In July the Committee launched an investigation into local government procurement with a focus on the extent to which the sector is delivering good value for money and meeting the objectives of local communities.  This third oral evidence session will focus on how local government can ensure probity and good governance in its procurement activities, and tackle the risk of fraud in local service delivery by both the public and private sector.
