The Scotland Office and Office of the Advocate General for Scotland Annual Report and Accounts 2012/13 was published on 1 July 2013.

This publication combines statutory end year financial statements for 2012/13, audited by the National Audit Office, with Departmental Reports giving an overview of past and future activity, including spending plans. The Annual Report and Accounts provide an opportunity for departments to document not only what has been spent, but what has been achieved through the funding voted by Parliament.

The Scottish Affairs Select Committee's remit is to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Scotland Office including relations with the Scottish Parliament. The Committee also looks at the administration and expenditure of the offices of the Advocate General for Scotland (excluding individual cases and advice given within government by the Advocate General).

As such the Committee will hear from the Secretary of State for Scotland on this Annual Report.
