Work and Pensions Committee announces evidence session on child maintenance

The Work and Pensions Select Committee has today announced a one-off evidence session with the DWP Minister of State, Steve Webb MP, to discuss child maintenance reforms.

The session is likely to cover issues including: how the Government is supporting separated families; the introduction of the new statutory child maintenance service; the proposals to introduce charging for use of the statutory service; and the plans for dealing with child maintenance arrears.
