Lords to question experts on the commercial potential of waste

The House of Lords Science and Technology Committee will next Tuesday, 26 November, hear from two senior academics on how the UK can transform waste into commercially viable products.

It will also question the head of science and technology at TMO Renewables, a company which exploits the potential of organic waste to produce marketable products such as ethanol, polymers and bioplastics.
The committee is exploring the potential to create a multi-million pound economy from waste, using by-products from agriculture, industry and households.
