The Committee is inquiring into how changes to housing benefit, and the introduction of the spare room subsidy or bedroom tax, is impacting upon people in Scotland.

The Committee is particularly eager to hear the concerns of local authorities, as initial research from Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) suggests that there has been a sharp rise in rent arrears and requests for financial support from tenants affected by the bedroom tax.
