Lords to publish report on Olympic and Paralympic Legacy

Overview

During its inquiry, the Committee has heard from a large number of witnesses, including Mayor of London, Boris Johnson; former Olympics Minister, Dame Tessa Jowell MP; Lord Coe, former Chair of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) and Rt Hon Maria Miller MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.

Visits

The Committee also visited a number of locations and organisations in the London Boroughs which hosted the Games, looking at the redeveloping facilities on the Park and meeting people in the local area.

Press Briefing

The Committee will hold an embargoed press briefing for the media at 2pm on Friday 15 November in Committee Room 3.

• Copies of the report will be available to read in the briefing room from 1pm.
• Committee Chairman, Lord Harris of Haringey, will host the briefing and answer questions.
• The report’s contents and any comments made in the briefing will be embargoed until 00:01 on Monday 18 November.
