Environmental Audit Committee will hold its fourth and penultimate public evidence hearing on Energy subsidies in the UK, at 2.15pm on Wednesday 23 October in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House.

The session will question representatives from particular energy sectors (oil and gas, nuclear, renewable) on the way energy subsidy should be defined and applied in those sectors, and about the Government’s position on these issues. It will also explore the case for subsidies to support new industry sectors, and Platform’s view on the role of UK Export Finance in supporting energy projects abroad.
