Publication of a Reasoned Opinion: Establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office

At its meeting on 22 October, the EU Committee agreed to recommend that the House of Lords should issue a reasoned opinion on the proposed Regulation on the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) because it does not comply with the principle of subsidiarity

The Committee has published a report with the reasoned opinion which is due to be debated in the House on Monday 28 October.
