On 12 March 2013 the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced the re-appointment of Martin Weale as an external member of the Monetary Policy Committee.
The Committee's re-appointment hearing takes place on Tuesday 15 October 2013, at 10.00am, in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House.
