Commenting today Louise Ellman MP said, “Our report raised concerns about the implementation of changes to the Coastguard Service – particularly closure of stations and the effect on staff levels and morale. This debate will be an important opportunity to put those concerns to the Shipping Minister and press him for answers.”
The report will be the subject of the first debate of the afternoon, before a debate on a report by the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee.
