The Political and Constitutional Reform Committee has published a short report outlining its work so far on Parliament’s role in conflict decisions and announcing its intention to conduct a further inquiry in the light of recent developments.

Committee Chair Graham Allen MP said

"The Foreign Secretary committed to enshrine in law the necessity of consulting Parliament on military action. The Committee will be looking at what progress has been made on this long-standing commitment."
