The Chairman of the Committees, Sir John Stanley, said
"The Committees are continuing their rigorous and detailed scrutiny of the Government’s arms exports and arms control policies in the extensive series of questions they have put to the 4 Secretaries of State today on the Government’s latest Strategic Export Controls Report published in July. The Government’s answers, requested by 18 October, will be important for the Committees’ further questioning of Ministers, NGOs and the Defence industry when they come before the Committees to give Oral Evidence later this year."
