The Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable MP will give evidence to the Scottish Affairs Committee on its Scotland Analysis paper.

The UK Government has issued a series of Scotland Analysis papers, which seek to set out as much information as possible for voters who will have to decide in September 2014 whether Scotland should become a separate country.

These papers are sponsored by a number of different Government departments, and the Scottish Affairs Committee has undertaken to take evidence on each of them.

In July, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills published a paper on Business and Microeconomic Framework, setting out the benefits of the current UK framework, which is a single domestic market with free movement of goods, services and people, and the potential impact that separation might have on that framework.
