Purpose of session

The Culture, Media and Sport Committee announced an inquiry into the work of Arts Council England on 10 January 2014. This second evidence session will further consider the scope, scale and remit of the Council and how it makes its funding decisions. One particular area of interest lies in the role of local government and the geographical distribution of funding for the arts.
