Committee announces new sessions on Local Government Chief Officers' Remuneration

The second and third oral evidence sessions of the Committee’s inquiry will further explore pay for local government sector senior staff. They will probe whether pay package levels are set effectively and if there is adequate transparency and accountability in the way in which councils determine remuneration.
