The Committee holds an evidence session with the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP, on Tuesday 16 December at 4.15pm.
Between 2 and 8 December, the Committee invited questions for Mr Pickles via Twitter using the #AskPickles hashtag. A selection of these questions have been chosen and will be put to the Secretary of State by Committee Members during the 45 minute session.
Participants have submitted questions on a wide range of local government matters including planning, housing and local services to provide Mr Pickles with the opportunity to respond on his policies and also to reflect on his time at the Department. By the end of this parliament Mr Pickles will have been Secretary of State for five years.
