Funding the Royal Botanic Gardens

The Science and Technology Committee announced on 12 November 2014 that it would hold a one-off evidence session addressing announcements made by The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew regarding its £5m "budget gap".

Witnesses

The Committee meeting will take place on Wednesday 17 December 2014 at 9.15am at Cambridge Cottage, Kew.

This session will not be webcast because it is not being held at the House of Commons. A sound recording of the evidence hearing will be made available on the Committee inquiry page in due course.

Access arrangements at the meeting

  • Members of the public are encouraged to arrive by 8.55am at the private Cambridge Cottage entrance on Kew Green.
  • The session will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. 
  • There is no system for the prior reservation of seats. 
  • There will be no standing room to observe the evidence hearing.
  • Once the session has commenced, further admittance will be based on the availability of seats.
