Sub-Committee visits Berlin to take evidence on the EU and Russia

On 26-28 November, the House of Lords EU External Affairs Sub-Committee visited Berlin to take evidence from politicians, business leaders and think tanks as part of its inquiry into the EU and Russia.
During the visit, the Committee took evidence from:
- Mr Martin Hoffman, Executive Director, German-Russian Forum
- Dr Christoph Heusgen, Foreign Policy Advisor to Chancellor Merkel, Federal Chancellery
- Dr Hans-Dieter Lucas, Political Director, Federal Foreign Office
- Dr Markus Kerber, Director General, Federation of German Industries
The Committee also received private briefings from:
