The Student Room is hosting a forum on behalf of the Education Committee, asking their community to provide views on apprenticeships and traineeships.
- The Student Room forum: The future of apprenticeships
- Inquiry: Apprenticeships and traineeships for 16 to 19 year olds
- Education Committee
The forum seeks views on four separate threads:
- How useful was your careers guidance at school? Did you get any information on apprenticeships?
- Why do people do an apprenticeship? What puts people off?
- What information do people need when they are looking at apprenticeships and traineeships and where should it come from?
- Have you been an apprentice or trainee? If so what do you think you got out of it?
Comments will be considered before the Committee takes evidence from the Minister responsible for apprenticeships, Nick Boles MP, in the New Year.
