Andrew Bailey will be giving evidence on Tuesday 11 February at 10.000 am  as part of the Committee’s inquiry into Project Verde (the name for the required divestment of 632 branches of Lloyds Banking Group) and the collapse of The Co-operative Bank’s bid for these branches.

Witness:

Tuesday 11 February, 10.00am, The Grimond Room, Portcullis House

  • Andrew Bailey, Deputy Governor for Prudential Regulation and Chief Executive Officer of the Prudential Regulation Authority, Bank of England

Background

The Committee has held hearings with former senior Co-op figures, the Financial Conduct Authority, and with Lord Levene and Gary Hoffman, the former Chair and CEO of NBNK Investments plc, the rival bidder for the Lloyds branches.

This is expected to be the last of the Committee’s oral evidence sessions for the inquiry, and the Committee will then prepare its Report. For details of previous hearings and witnesses called to give evidence, please see the Project Verde inquiry webpage.
