The Justice Select Committee will hold its seventh evidence session in its inquiry into Crime reduction policies: a co-ordinated approach?, on Tuesday 4 February

Purpose of session

The evidence session will consist of two panels. On the first panel, evidence will be taken from the HM Chief Inspectorate of Prisons, and president of the Prison Governors Association with focus on the role, activities, and spending on prisons. The second panel consisting of organisations in the crime and justice field will focus on programmes of rehabilitation, reducing crime and crime reduction policies.
