MPs to take evidence on keeping of non-human primates

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) estimates that around 7,000 primates are kept privately in England, Wales and Scotland.  This is a one-off evidence session focusing on the issues around the keeping of primates as pets and the animal welfare codes of practice and legislation in that area.

The evidence session will be held on Wednesday 5 February 2014

The meeting is expected to take place in Room 16, in the Palace of Westminster.
