Purpose of Session

The purpose of this evidence session is to discuss the implications of separation on higher education, science and research in Scotland. The session is expected to cover issues such as funding of higher education, tuition fees, research expertise, recruitment and access to higher education. At 2.30pm the Committee will also take oral evidence from the Rt Hon David Mundell on the inquiry into the impact of the Bedroom Tax & other changes to housing benefit in Scotland.

The Committee will take evidence on Tuesday 4 February 2014 in Committee Room 15, Palace of Westminster.
