Lords hear from accountancy associations, NFU and AIMA on Finance Bill

The House of Lords Finance Bill Sub-Committee will take evidence from representatives of the ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, NFU and AIMA as part of their inquiry into the 2014 Finance Bill

  • Frank Haskew, Head of the ICAEW Tax Faculty,
  • Charlotte Barbour, Head of Taxation (Private Clients and Small Businesses), ICAS
  • Chas Roy-Chowdhury, Head of Taxation, ACCA

At 4.30 pm:

  • Michael Parker, Head of Tax, NFU
  • Jiri Krol, Deputy CEO, Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs, AIMA
  • Paul Hale, Director, Associate Head of Tax Affairs, AIMA

The Committee are holding an inquiry into the 2014 Finance Bill with particular focus on the taxation of partnerships and the process of tax policy making since it was reformed by the government in 2010.
