The Committee will first hear from four businesses involved in the delivery of public services: Atos, Capita, G4S, and Serco. For the second panel the Committee will hear from two small charities: Only Connect and Streets2Homes, as well as the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.

Particular issues

Particular issues to be explored may include:

  • the opportunities for local communities to get involved in public service design and delivery
  • whether the Government has successfully devolved power away from Whitehall and into local communities
  • how businesses and charities delivering public services can be held to account

The @CommonsPASC Twitter account will be live tweeting the session, using the #PublicServices hashtag.
