Security Minister questioned on recent Scotland Analysis Security paper

The Scottish Affairs Committee continues its inquiry into the Referendum on Separation for Scotlandon Wednesday 8 January 2014.

The UK Government has issued a series of Scotland Analysis papers, which seek to set out as much information as possible for voters who will have to decide in September 2014 whether Scotland should become a separate country.
These papers are sponsored by a number of different Government departments and the Scottish Affairs Committee has undertaken to take evidence on each of them.
On 29 October 2013 the Home Office alongside the Scotland Office published the 7th paper in the Scotland analysis programme, Scotland Analysis: Security.
This paper looks into the UK’s approach to security and the potential consequences of Scottish independence.
