Committee to hold second evidence session on Monday 20 January 2014, questioning the Minister responsible for building regulations (Part P) as part of the Committee’s inquiry into alleged problems with its operation.

The concerns are about the operation of the competent person schemes that check certain domestic electrical works and how any problems might be rectified. The Committee held a session on Monday 6 January with electrical contractors, electricians and those who operate the certification schemes.
