The Education Committee will hold the final session in its inquiry into Residential children's homes in England on Wednesday 8 January 2014.

Purpose of the session

This is the final evidence session in the Committee’s inquiry into residential children’s homes in England. The first part focuses on residential care from the perspective of children and young people. It provides Members with the opportunity to hear directly from young people with experience of care and from the Children’s Commissioner for England. The second part gives Members the chance to question the Minister responsible for residential children’s homes in England, Edward Timpson MP.
