EU Committee publishes Annual Report for 2013-14

The European Union Committee today publishes its Annual Report for 2013-14 which summarises the work of the committee over the last parliamentary year.
The Report details the work undertaken during the 2013-14 session for the Committee and its six Sub-Committees:
- Economic and Financial Affairs
- Internal Market, Infrastructure and Employment
- External Affairs
- Agriculture, Fisheries, Environment and Energy
- Justice, Institutions and Consumer Protection
- Home Affairs, Health and Education
The report highlights the inquiries conducted by the Committee and its Sub-Committees, looks at the follow-up work to previous inquiries and details the in-depth scrutiny of various draft EU legislative proposals completed over the course of the 2013-14 Session. The Report also looks ahead to the 2014-15 Session.
